CAMILA FIX


Camila Fix is an architect who works as a product designer and independent design curator. She coordinated the design department at the Museum of Contemporary Art of São Paulo at the beginning of her career. In 2012, she moved to the Netherlands, where she completed the first two years of a postgraduate program in product design at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Since then, she has sought to bring this experience into projects with the Brazilian furniture industry. In the field of curation, she has carried out the project “Nossa Casa” since 2018, which brings together artists and designers to reflect on the home and the moment we are living in.

Camila served as a judge in two editions of the Design Award of the Museu da Casa Brasileira in São Paulo. She participated as an independent designer in three editions of the Brazilian Design Biennial and in several exhibitions in Brazil and abroad: at the Triennale di Milano and the Saint-Étienne Biennale in 2000 and 2002. Awarded by the Museu da Casa Brasileira and the Salão Design, her products have been featured in Phaidon’s Spoon book, in Design Brasileiro – 101 anos de história by Editora Abril, and in Design Brasileiro de Luminárias by Editora Olhares.

FLÁVIA PAGOTTI SILVA

An architect graduated from FAUUSP with an MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art in London. She has worked as a designer since 2001, developing furniture and objects both in partnership with industry and independently, with an authorial approach.

She has taken part in numerous exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, including the Saint-Étienne Biennale, Uma História do Sentar, the Brazilian Design Biennials in São Paulo, Curitiba, and Belo Horizonte, Desigmai in Berlin, Puras Misturas at the Pavilion of Brazilian Cultures, Creative Art Session at the Kawasaki City Museum in Japan, and Praise of Diversity in Amsterdam.

Among her awards are the Design Award of the Museu da Casa Brasileira, the iF Product Design Award, the Idea Brasil Award, the Salão Design Award, and the Design for our Future Selves Award.
